In one of our discussions related to the wonderful aspects of art, one of my peers and I thought of hosting an art exhibition and sharing our experiences with people together. In 2022, I decided to take my artistic journey forward by hosting an art exhibition along with a workshop, with all the proceeds going to those in need of immediate assistance- an NGO for underprivileged children, ‘Alankaar’ and UNHCR to help Ukrainian refugees. With the help of my friend Irsa, I made this event into a huge success by raising around Rs. 25,000. Through the support of our volunteers, we managed our time and used our thinking skills effectively to execute our plan successfully. We and the volunteers also went to The Earth Saviour Foundation (TESF) on 27th June 2022 to execute a clothing and food drive, where we took the help of our respective societies to collect as many essential items as possible. I’m proud to say that since the first event in 2022, I have held three more events just like these named ‘celestia’.
